It is a powerful practice of the mind and body where we shift our attention from thinking about things to direct awareness of our experience: what we can see, hear, taste, touch and feel though our senses. This brings us into the present moment and connects us to our awareness. We can bring this awareness to our own thoughts and feelings too.
